Project/Unit description/Expedition: Today’s lesson will be different because it will be a work day! An artist that makes art to show it to people should finish what they started, which we will do today! It is okay to look back at the different projects and change them up, if you don’t like what you did you can re-do it or switch it up how ever you see fit.

With initial questioning: What are using to color in your garden? What is in your garden? The student is developing confidence in reasoning by explaining what her garden is made up of, using critical vocabulary to let the teacher know what each shape is meant to be; this student communicates that she made a garden. Through different use of color, the student emphasizes what living and dead beans look like and which ones you can eat.
